What this platform publishes
The Safari Operator publishes original ideas, field observations and practical resources about building, running and rethinking African safari businesses. It does not rewrite press releases, produce generic tips or aggregate content from other sources.
Voice and authorship
Content by Bavu Vilane reflects his own experience, opinions and reporting. Where inference is presented as distinct from fact, it is labelled as such. Pieces representing the institutional view of the platform are noted accordingly.
Sourcing and verification
Factual claims are attributed and linked to sources. Where claims are based on Bavu's direct experience or observation, this is stated. Claims requiring external verification are reviewed before publication. Speculative claims are presented as questions or hypotheses, not facts.
Corrections and updates
